The Programme
The Bridge is a two-day workshop – one day of which is spent on the SAMTRA maritime simulator in Simon’s Town. Depending upon specific client needs and timing this may either be the first or the second of the two-workshop days.
Breakdown of The Bridge Programme
The programme therefore consists of more than just the unique learning and team development experience offered by the simulation exercises alone. It includes specific, real and practical performance issues being experienced by your team, and which are identified before the programme begins.
Pre-work is completed at least one week in advance of the workshop. This consists of an online non-psychometric and non-judgemental questionnaire that looks at individual team member contribution preferences – under both normal and high-pressure conditions. The integration of these preferences provides a detailed team profile that forms a backdrop to the activities and behaviours observed on The Bridge.
